Starting from March 2022 till present day, specialists from Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Centre have already carried out more than 100 on-site consultations at 78 separate places located in the areas affected by russian aggression and front-line territories. About 4500 children newborn to 18 years and more than 1500 adults aged 35 to 82 years have been consulted.
Our consultations took place in affected districts of the Kyiv region, Chernihiv , Zaporozhye, Nikolaev and Donbass. Due to the shortage of pediatric Cardiologists and the complexity of the military situation, special attention was paid to the population of Donbass. Consultations were held in Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, Mirnograd, Nikolaevka, Selidovo, Belozersk and Volnovah regions.
So, the war is going on. Children are born with heart defects. There is a growing amount of cardiac pathology cases among young men and women as well as elderly people.
For further timely and qualified cardiac care for Ukrainians, the International Charity Foundation “Child’s Heart” is opening the fund collection for the needs of the mobile teams of doctors. We need funds for transportation and organizational expenses for our doctors.
