On 8 July, the Centre for Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery suffered a lot after an enemy missile attack, and we are asking for your help.
All day long, the Centre’s staff helped our colleagues from Okhmatdyt: our specialists admitted children for further treatment to the intensive care unit and wards of the clinic and actively helped to clear the rubble.
However, we have to say that our paediatric building on Chornovil Street has unfortunately suffered significant damage.
Now all patients and staff have been transferred to the adult clinic. There is no ventilation in the children’s ward, the rooms have been damaged and cannot be used to treat children with heart defects.
We are desperate because it is very difficult to restore the clinic’s work and functioning on our own. That is why we are asking charitable foundations, philanthropists and other caring people to help us restore the Centre’s building.
Please note that we are provided with all the necessary medical supplies. However, our “home”, our building, needs a lot of help.
To make our building a home of healthy heart and strength again.
