On July 8th, russian terrorists launched a rocket attack, severely damaging the building of the Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Center. As a result, the Center’s operations were suspended.
We sustained significant damage to our children’s ward, where we performed more than 100 surgeries a month. The ventilation and sterilization systems were rendered inoperative, and the operating rooms and hospital wards require extensive repairs. The radiology department can no longer function as intended.
If we do not restore the Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Center promptly, hundreds of newborn children will be deprived of essential care and the chance for life.
Frankly, we are in despair because restoring the clinic’s operations independently is exceedingly difficult.
Therefore, we appeal to everyone: charitable foundations, benefactors, and active citizens, for help in rebuilding the Center’s facilities. To make our children’s unit a “home of healthy heart and strength” again.
