About us
We are an international non-profit charitable organization, founded in 1993 by the initiative of Professor Illya Yemets. .
Our goal is to promote the development of the Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Centre, provide the informational and communicational support and coverage, launch the best stuff for scientific and educational events (congresses, conferences, workshops etc.), involve volunteers, charities and philanthropists..
Mission
Our mission is to save every child's heart, to achieve it we use several tools:
Organize fundraising to save children with congenital heart disease and adults with cardiovascular disease
Purchase equipment, medicines and consumables for the Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Centre
Conduct medical educational programs for specialists, support the participation of our specialists in international scientific events
Take care and provide organizational support of the patients and their relatives in Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Centre
Hold festive charity events for patients, their families and staff
Promote the organization of treatment for foreign citizens in Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Centre
Organize treatment of children with congenital heart diseases inn other countries, where the cardiac surgery is unable
Cooperate with leading international cardiac centres and foundations.
Create information campaigns regarding the healthy heart for society

Illya Yemets
General Director in Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Centre, Professor, heart surgeon and Honored Doctor of Ukraine. Illya Yemets is the first surgeon in post-Soviet Union area who operates children with severe congenital heart diseases. Created the school of cardiac surgery in Ukraine.

Olena Rozhkova-Buriak
Founder of cheerleading in Ukraine, president of “Cheerleaders” Federation and foundator of “Platform of modern dance”, head of worldwide famous Olympic dance team REDFOXES. Mother of three children, one of them was saved in Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Centre. Olena inspires and organizes our events, educational projects and provides a communicational support.

Iryna Sydorchuk
Manager in public affairs, active member of “Association of patients with pulmonary hypertension”, author of charity project “Live fully” and calendar “Breath. Live. Dream”, the models were ladies with pulmonary hypertension. Iryna knows from her own experience about pulmonary hypertension, so work in Foundation is her calling.

Social service worker in UCCC. Supports patients and their relatives in UCCC. Joins philanthropists to help children. Yulia knows from own experience about the role of psychological and emotional support for those, who faced the diagnosis “congenital heart disease”.
